Mr. Tepper has consulted and led successful consulting engagements to improve quality, service and margin for 24 years in some of our countries most prestigious institutions. His clients include Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Harlem Hospital, University of Virginia Medical Center, University of Maryland Medical System, University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center, Providence Medical System, University of Chicago, Aurora Healthcare, Albert Einstien / Montefiore Medical System Clinics, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, SSM healthcare in Missouri as well as several small systems and community hospitals, medical centers and clinics throughout the country. He served as a Senior Vice President of West Hudson and Co. and Cardinal Health Consulting as well as President for Colleagues Healthcare and now Compirion. Mr. Tepper¡¦s areas of specialty include Inpatient Nursing, Emergency Department, Surgical Services and Clinics, with an emphasis on the installation of performance management systems, implementation management and major culture transformation.
Prior to hospital consulting, Spence was the coordinator of a team of behavioral specialists. Together, working with healthcare representatives from the State of California, they established two of the nation's first successful community independent living based programs: the first for mildly retarded / developmentally disabled young adults, and the second for severely retarded / severe behavior disorder young adults.
Mr. Tepper holds a Master of Arts in Behavioral and Experimental Psychology from California State University at Northridge. He is a member of the American Hospital Association (AHA), American Organziation of Nurse Executives (AONE) and the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
